at the beginning of the scene, describe how the king feels about Hamlet and what he plans to do with him.

Claudius thinks there is danger in Hamlet's lunacy. I din't even think the King really believes that Hamlet is mad. He knows he is dangerous,

"And can you by no drift of conference

Get from him why he puts on this confusion,

Grating so harshly all his days of quiet

With turbulent and dangerous lunacy?"

THe King plans to send Hamlet off to England with a secret message to the king of England to kill Hamlet.
