Hamlet

Act 1, Sc. 5, lines 106-110: Identify one thing Hamlet says that runs counter to what the Ghost asked of him and explain what it reveals about Hamlet?

Hamlet: O most pernicious woman!

O villain, villain, smiling, damnèd villain!

My tables---meet it is I set it down

That one may smile and smile and be a villain.

[He writes.]
