In my opinion, Hamlet is not attracted to his own mother, he is merely reacting to the fact that his mother married his father's brother without blinking an eye..... no suspicion, no remorse, no grief. He is appalled and sickened by her actions, particularly, as they have been enacted by his own mother..... the woman he should have been able to trust above all others. This is, of course, my opinion.
