what is your opinion of gulliver his penchant for sea voyages

Gulliver is a broad enough character to allow the reader to see his world without too much bias. His penchant for exploration allows the plot to unfold in exotic places without bringing too much cultural baggage. We experience the satire without getting bogged down in a particular ideology.
