Serving in Brobdingnag proves difficult for Gulliver. He experiences a series of dangers because of his small size-and because the dwarf relishes in making Gulliver's life difficult. . Gulliver's nemesis is the dwarf, who used to be the small man in court and favored by the queen. The Dwarf plots to have Gulliver eliminated. At one point he drops Gulliver into a bowl of cream to watch him drown.
