Who is Glumdalclitch?

Glumdalclitch is the farmer's daughter. She takes care of Gulliver, teaches him the language and treats him very well, like a child would care for a favorite doll. In fact, she keeps him in a doll's cradle, which she closes inside a drawer at night to keep him safe from the rats.
