How do Faber's explaining of the three things missing from their society could be applied to our society's relationship to media (tv, video games, movies and etc)?

Video games, reality television, and movies have replaced the family in many instances. Technology, particularly smart phones, interfere with family discussion and socialization. When was the last time you had dinner out with your family and "NOT" seen people ignoring those they are sitting with because they are on their phones. How many family members say, "hello", and then quickly retreat to play their favorite video games.

People believe what they hear, and those who advertise on radio, television, and social media inundate the populace.... often pushing misinformation. In addition, many look to social media sites to catch up on the news.... once again, filling their minds with what is often false information.
