Dry Lips Oughta Move to Kapuskasing is a play by Tomson Highway. It was nominated for a Governor General's Award along with nomination for Dora Mavor Moore Awards (presented by the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts) including Best New Play and also a won the Floyd S. Chalmers Award.
Highway's work made its premier at the Theatre Passe-Muraille in Toronot in 1989. The play was Highway's seventh produced work who also writes novels, children's books and essays. Highway is a Cree, and this is his first language. The play is written in English with Cree language featured among the characters as they journey through the circumstances of the story.
