Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

Although we have learned that Utterson is one of Jekyll’s oldest friends, we now discover that he has never been to the Doctor’s garden. What might this suggest about Jekyll’s nature? What does it show about his friendship with Utterson?

Help please

I think this really speaks to the introverted and private nature of Jekyll. One of Jekyll's reasons for his transformation to Hyde was his inability to be assertive even within his social circles.
