Willy was insulted by the buyer who he overheard referring to him as 'walrus'. He shares this with Linda who, as ever, tries to bolster his confidence. Sadly for Willy it is now too late for him to believe the fantasy he has tried to create and live. He is aware of his failings, but believes he may be able to escape them by ignoring them.
