Death of a Salesman

Which aspects of the process of creating the “staging and stage picture” are of interest? What were the choices and how did they come to the final decisions?

In the late 40’s the great stage director Elia Kazan and the great stage designer Jo

Mielziner worked together to create the premiere performance of DOS.

Which aspects of the process of creating the “staging and stage picture” are of

interest? What were the choices and how did they come to the final decisions?

I think I need an actual source for this.

Hi Asian. The sources that came with this study question are here (http://www2.zshares.net/qiumk1xf3jnl and http://www2.zshares.net/vohbsm33bjgg) here is other links if it happen to go down ( http://www.filedropper.com/deathofasalesman-broadwayproduction-pt11 and http://www.filedropper.com/dopproductionpart2)

I think I saw some stuff under "Design Process" on page 17 of the actual book " not in PDF pages " Want to see how other people analyze things so I can pick up good habits, my analysis's always ends up looking like that off a 5th graders.

Also if anyone is interested in helping, here is an other question, same sources linked above:

Which aspects of Elia Kazan’s casting and work with the actors on the premiere are of interest?

this question there has some info on page 29 entitled Directing.

And lastly, What was Arthur Miller’s process in creating the play before the 1949 premiere?

Did he change aspects of characters? Make cuts or shifts of emphasis?
