"I burn and freeze like ice" - simile

The most common literary device here is antithesis - he keeps comparing things that are opposites - he says "I fly" and yet "can I not arise"

His mention of death is a kind of personification since it refers to "it" after the mention of death

Obviously he is in great confusion in his life.

Metaphors:

love is a prison

a war; a series of contradictions- war and peace,

burn and freeze like ice, live nor die, sorrow and laugh, delight as a causer of strife.

thanx for ur help but can u be more spesific for examples give me a sentences through the poem to make it clear sorry but i really need them for my exam....
