@) Did you enjoy the book? Are there anplaces left go in the modern world that would answer "the call of the wild" Would go there?

I always enjoy Jack London's fiction. He is able to make animals relatable without anthropomorphizing his animals too much. I suppose there are plenty of "wild places" left in the world. The backwoods of Canada or Siberia are examples. Although I'd like to visit, I doubt that I'm hardy enough for an extended stay.
