what was the stories taht the 12 brave Geak tell as they ride horses around the tower?

That's a tough one. The soldiers tell stories about Beowulf's greatness and openly mourn his death. I have never seen a text describing the actual stories they told. The versions most people see are translations from the original really old English. That's not to say it doesn't exist though.
