What is the “science of the good,” for Aristotle?

Aristotle says that “science of the good” for man is politics, meaning the science of human action in society. Aristotle goes further to say that politics, insofar as it is the science of the good, includes all other sciences within its purview. This is because all sciences aim at some good, namely, knowledge.
