The truth shows itself when she sees aspects of her culture and heritage. She misses the border towns that are so rich with everything she longs for. The stern honesty of the boarder means people are who they are. There is no hiding their identity, they freely display it and Mora finds this beautiful. Even the old buildings and poor economic conditions is beautiful. The borders are authentic and real.
