Not that I know of...All I have is its says Source: Facing Mount Kenya, by Jomo Kenyatta (Secker and Warburg).

The story was very short and extremely anti-colonial. The elephant moves into the territory, gets his foot (trunk) in the door and then takes over. The Kenyan views of the colonial powers are very negative.
