123. A Suffragette Goes To Prison

123.(a) Do you think the statement "The end justifies the means" is true with reference to the militant suffragettes" actions?

(b) Are violent actions justified if they committed in the name of a good cause? Why or why not?

Hey Greta, this is a pretty huge question. Really this depends on ones point of view. I think violence is seldom a good thing regarding the suffragettes or any other cause. But then who am I to judge? One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. It all depends on what side of the grass one is standing on. I know this doesn't really give you an answer but I think you get what I'm saying or writing. Try to consider what you think. Let me know, I'd like to hear.
