Rasheed basically ignored Aziza. Rasheed begins to spend excessive amounts of money on Zalmai, not reusing any of Aziza’s old toys or diapers. Rasheed informs the family that despite slow business, he is able to borrow the money for Zalmai’s things from his friends. He insists that their financial situation will turn around soon.
