In Scene Eight, Stanley uses a variety of strategies to prove his dominance. He uses sarcasm, physical violence (breaking dishes), and physical touch (consoling his wife). He also adds a touch of dramatic irony when he gives Blanche her birthday gift...... a ticket home.
