The soldiers spend their leisure time watching war movies such as Rambo: First Blood and Commando; from these films they take ideas they want to use on the battlefield.

the boys watched the Rambo films first as part of their leisure time and secoundly it acted as a catalyst to motivate them and encouraage them not to fear war. it was a means to sitimulate them since they all admired to be like Rambo it is through the film that Beah come out strongly and fought without fear and become the best fighter.
