What was Frederic's rather dry humorous remark about how he was injured ?

Yeah I think Rinaldi is excited to hear how Frederic was wounded in battle. Frederic dryly answers that he was blown up while eating cheese. This puts a damper on Rinaldi's enthusiasm but Rinaldi still insists Frederic can wrangle a war-meddle out of this.
