Why did the spirits hair turn gray toward the end of the visit with Scrooge?

I don't recall the Ghost of Christmas future having grey hair. They pass by a grey-haired rascal, nearly seventy years of age but that's not the ghost. The Ghost of Christmas future had a cloak on.
