What differences are there between the description of the countryside in Part 2 Chapter 2 and the description of the city (London) earlier in the book?

London is described as a bleak landscape in P. 1 Chapter 1 and the countryside in P. 2 Chapter 2 is a place of nature. But are there some more differences?

I think those are the differences. London, Air strip One, is a rotting dystopia. The country side lacks the institutional control of London. There is, however, the eerie sense that the party is still present in the natural setting. There is always the threat of microphones hidden in the bushes.
