In addition to a son from a previous marriage, Kathy and Zeitoun are raising three girls. Zeitoun is revered in his adopted city as a fair and hardworking businessman. Despite facing some mild prejudice after 9/11, Zeitoun has built a life that is both financially and socially successful. He is known simply as "Zeitoun" to his many neighbours, friends and loyal clients. This tells us about a common motivation in the immigrant experience. Immigrants come to America to work very hard and better their lives. Many have a keen motivation to give back to a community that has given to them.
