This question calls for your opinion. There is no right or wrong answer. In context, we have to realize that Anne is only sixteen-years-old. She's had to use her ingenuity, put herself in danger, and work hard to meet her own needs. Her space is her space... her things are her things. Anne has proven her compassion and willingness to sacrifice, without her, Mr. Loomis wouldn't be alive. That does not, however, mean that she is not allowed to have her own personal space... her own things. Anne understands that they need each other to survive, but she also wants boundaries.
