hooray--so the people who provide us with the synopsis of this story are from Harvard---guess what they all have in common--money.  And the story deals with class issues--not coming from the middle to upper class--in fact, so far I've seen zero examples from analysis which would qualify as an apt reading of this story.

Find another outlet.  These people have no idea, let alone educational background (english undegrad?), to educate you on this story

Seriously, did you even read the novel? It sounds like you have a chip on your shoulder. The analysis here is great, and covers most of the relevant issues.
