How has Cathy changed after her stay at the Grange?
The daughter of Catherine and Edgar, Catherine was born at Thrushcross Grange. Before leaving the Grange, Catherine is known as a beautiful, strong willed girl; Ellen has a lot to do with the gentleness she acquires during the story.
Her time at Wuthering Heights, and her treatment at Heathcliff's hands create a detached reservation. She even becomes unfriendly. Fortunately, Hareton comes into her life and through his friendship much of her former self reappears because of their relationship.
