How does the opening of this chapter 32 remind the reader of an earlier chapter? What is the intended effect of the opening?

In the opening of Chapter 32, we see how Bronte has shifted the story and the characters, producing a symetrical effect to Chapter One. In Chapter One, Catherine and Hindley are introduced as the inhabitants of Wuthering Heights.... it is their home. In Chapter 32, it is Cathy and Hareton living at Wuthering Heights. They've left the Grange and gone home.... the two cousins are happily interred in the family home in the way Bronte always believed it should be.... a place free of Heathcliff and the disarray he created in life.
