Rounds

To fix something broken or damaged

Credit

Recognition or acknowledgment for doing a good thing

Snuffed out

Extinguished or stopped immediately, for example, to extinguish a candle flame

Ember

A small remnant of a dying fire

Dampen

Weaken

Augment

To make something stronger or more intense

Inevitable

Something that cannot be avoided

Flustered

Frustrated and tired

Manic

Insane and overly-energetic

Cloistered away

Deliberately sheltered from the outside world

Implement

A tool or similar piece of equipment

Dredge

To clear a river or lake by removing weeds and pollution; also a metaphor for improving your life by removing negative people and emotions

Brutal

Physically and emotionally painful

Resigned

Believing that things will never get better; having a defeatist attitude

Preserving

Protecting something so that it doesn't become destroyed or damaged over time

Rebel

To disobey someone's orders

Intractable

Hard to cope with

Legion

A very large group of people

Feeble

Physically weak

Condemned

Sentenced to death or torture

Ablation

A surgical procedure which removes a person's body tissue
