What do you think of the line ‘Don’t judge a boy by his face’ which appears on the back cover of the book?

I think this is a play on the cliche, Don't judge a book by it's cover. In Auggie's case don't judge a boy by his face means the same thing: there is much more to Auggie than his different looking face.
