Wilfred Owen: Poems

How does Wilfred Owen show his intolerance of God in Mental Cases and how is it evident in his other poems?

I'm struggling with finding much to talk about when it come to finding specifically religious language in mental cases and other poems and trying to talk about the effects Owen uses with his language to emphasise certain points other than making it 'horrifying' to the reader. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Is there a specific poem you are referring to?

In anthem for doomed youth. Anthem is referred to as the religious funeral music the play in funeral services. Other than making it horrifying, he uses vivid imagery from personal experiences to get through to the reader and you can detect a slight bitterness in his poems. He also uses language from the Bible and Shakespeare.
