reading wide sargasso sea and jane eyre
Wide Sargasso Sea is a prequel to the events taking place in Jane Eyre, so it certainly helps if you have read Jane Eyre. Jane Eyre also provides a great deal of context to the otherwise fairly dense text.
Id advise u to read wide sargasso sea before u read jane eyre as it will help u to understand about Bertha and other charchters <---- sorry for the poor spelling
