Bringing in Technology

Throughout the study of Washington Square, students with particular learning disabilities should have the option of using dictation software for writing assignments, and text-to-speech software for reading assignments.

In the Day 1 activity "Portrait of a Gentleman,” student groups will use Timetoast or another interactive timeline tool and the internet for research to create a timeline marking the major events in James’s life. All groups will add their research findings to a shared collaborative document.
