Would Thoreau appreciate what Walden Pond has become or will he be disappointed? What would be his opinion if he were alive?

I have not been to Walden Pond in the present but I would imagine it has become a tourist attraction. Thoreau would likely have not been pleased at this. The major theme of Walden was to escape the masses and artificiality of the "civilized" world. He would not like to see his beloved place of solitude turned into a tourist destination.
