In my opinion, Lucky's speech is significant because he is actually directing his words at the audience rather than the other characters. Lucky's words are both intelligent and theological, but they are also absurd and nonsensical. In the end, they have no meaning. Pulled apart, we see a distinct belief in God.... the words uttered together, however, are illogical.
