This is only a short answer space and your question is pretty detailed. Generally, the truth is shrouded behind propaganda and forced conformity. Is V a terrorist or is he a freedom fighter? The state would have people believe V is a terrorist. Fake news is spoon-fed to the population via television while reality becomes something that the state can form in any way they like.
