what comparsions do you see between the aged Ulysses and the aged Beowulf.

As an aged man, Beowulf continued to be brave, confidant, and a fine leader, but his deteriorating body limited his actions. In contrast, Ulysses has disdain for those around him, is tired of governing those he considers to be no more than savages, and acts as an unbending old man.
