I've got a question for anybody who wants to answer it.
My question is: do you think that the kind of language that bella, edward and the others use in Twilight corresponds to the language American teenagers would use or do you rather think it is 35-year-old Stephenie Meyer trying to reproduce a "young" language with a positive or negative result?
The reason I'm asking you this is that I'm not American, I'm Italian, and I'm writing my final work for the university about Twilight. As I'm not a native speaker I need your opinion.

Just curious. How many of you reading this right now like the Twilight saga? How many of you do not like it? There are many students in my AP English 12 class that do not like it for multiple reasons. I on the other hand love the book for multiple reasons. I would just like some perspective from some other people. If you do not like it do not say that you do not like it just because or something because I really want to know why you do not like it. If you have not read any of the books yet I do not mind if you post on this but do not say you do or not like it if you have not read it because I have heard that plenty of times already and if you have not read it then you would not truly know whether you like it or not.
Is Bella brave/heroic or is she self destructive (has some kind of death wish)?
Are we supposed to respect her bravery or is she just trying to kill herself?
