I really liked this book. Considering the audience it is meant for (pre teens/ teens/ boys) the book does a fantastic job illustrating themes of male teenage frustration and angst. I really liked the part where Cole has his turning point. The Spirit Bear attacks Cole to within an inch of his life. Lying bloody on the ground, Cole worries about the little birds that have fallen out of their nest. I also enjoyed the direct discourse between Edwin and Cole. There really was not anything I disliked about the book considering who it was written for.

Alright thanx
