What is your opinion of the Native American Circle? Is that a fair way to deal with problems?
I think it can be useful for some issues and less effective for others. In Cole's case I think it was a perfect fit.The justice circle is a good venue for an angry young man repeating the cycle of abuse and violence. Cole had not yet killed anyone and his personality profile suggested that isolation on an island away from all his temptations and vices may begin a healing process. In the case of more serious crimes like murder and rape, I think the courts are more suitable. For serious crimes, there must be swifter and harsher consequences.
