What does Cole think about being banished as a form of punishment

Initially Cole thinks it is an easy deal to get out of prison but latere gets angry. Cole can't manipulate people because he will be alone. Cole cannot appease his anger by lashing out at others. He will only be on the island with only his own thoughts. On the island, Cole cannot run from himself.
