Cole is having one of his flashbacks on the island. Here we get a look at how Cole's father emotionally and physically abused him. Cole role plays what he might say to his dad, “who are you going to hit?" Cole also envisions his father seeing the burnt cabin and the empty camp. He sees his father unable to fix the situation with a "lawsuit and a stiff drink."
