Describe what George does when he finds Lennie.

Answer this question
I think that you are speaking about Of Mice and Men, not Touching Spirit Bear. In any case George has Lennie turn around and imagine their little farm. George starts in on his story about having each other and rabbits....Then George shoots Lennie in the head. This of course is a mercy killing, the others chasing Lennie would have done far worse.
I also believe you have put the wrong novel title with your question. The characters you name come from Steinbeck's novel, Of Mice and Men.
In the final chapter of 'Of Mice and Men', Lennie realises he has done a 'bad thing' and has returned to the setting in chapter 1 of the story to wait for George. This is their prearranged meeting place which signals that George has to activate an escape plan. This time George is faced with Lennie being guilty of murder, and he knows that running away will not solve the problem this time.
George knows that Lennie faces being lynched by Curley and his cronies in revenge for killing Curley's wife, or sent to the 'booby hatch' as a mental patient. Knowing that both of these options would be a slow, cruel destruction of Lennie, George chooses to shoot his friend and allow him to die a peaceful, swift, dignified death.
