A place for the mentally ill which aims to cure them

Bonkers

Slang for crazy

Courting

To be in a romantic relationship with someone with the intent to marry

Elope

To marry without telling anyone/in secret

Esoteric

Something only understood by a small number of people with a specialized knowledge or skill set

Idiosyncrasies

A way of behaving unique to one person/a small group of people

Love affair

Romantic involvement between two people, usually outside of marriage

Menstruation

The condition associated with a woman having her period

Socialite

A wealthy individual who likes public activities
