To Kill a Mockingbird

Writing an argument about To Kill a Mockingbird

My prompt is to write about an issue as though as I am one of the characters from chapter 3 or chapter 15. Those chapters are specific becuase only sections from those chapters have been selected for the prompt. The purpose of writing is to presuade the audience of my claim and evoke compassion for the character I choose. I have chosen scout as the character I'm just not sure what challenge to choose that evokes compassion.

You might want to write about Jem's invitation to Walter Cunningham to join the family for lunch, Scout's inappropriate remarks, and Calpurnia's lecture. Scout learns an important lesson about compassion in this section.
