Scout thinks Atticus is "feeble" from the point of view of a young child. Atticus is older than most dads and he doesn't play sports. Atticus prefers to sit in his study and read. As the book progresses, Scout begins to see her father as the most honourable and strong person she will ever know. He's also a really good shot with a gun as well! This story is written in reflection. Scout is writing it as an adult.
