Why did Atticus agree to Aunt Alexandra's visit?

Atticus didn't want to shut his sister out of his life. He also didn't want Calpurnia taking on all the responsibility for Scout and Jem. I think, to an extent, it was safer to have his sister at the house while this trial was going on.
