Who and why people concerned with children at court

The court case involves the rape of Mayella Ewell. Aunt Alexandra thinks it is inappropriate for children to be at the court. Atticus thinks Scout and Jem must see the realities of life. Scout, Jem, and Dill also sit in the colored section of the court instead of the white section.
