This happens near the end of Ch. 22. Miss Stephanie, the local gossip, excitedly declares that, "this morning Mr. Bob Ewell stopped Atticus on the post office corner, spat in his face, and told him he'd get him if it took the rest of his life."

it is easy to get comfused with the actions of bob in the movie and in the book but the quote by miss stephanie is in the end the chapter 22 this is very difrent from the movie because it does not give near as much info as the movie does but the quote by miss stephanie( i think it is said by her) only give a little info and it does not show where he wipes his face and walks away
